January 12, 2015 - The last big poker tournament of 2014 was won by poker professional Mohsin Charania who took the title at the World Poker Tour Five Diamond Poker Classic. Charania won more almost $1.5 million as he topped a field of 626 players in the $10,400 buy-in event.

Poker Pro Andrew Lichtenberger Wins WPT Alpha8 Las Vegas

January 12, 2015 - Poker professional Andrew Lichtenberger won the WPT Alpha8 Las Vegas event that had a buy-in of $100,000. A total of 55 players put the up big entry fee which meant a prize pool of more than $5 million dollars. Lichtenberger was able to defeat the strong field and take home the first place prize of more than $2.1 million dollars.
