John Juanda and Jennifer Harman are going to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame next month.
Juanda is one of the greatest tournament players in the history of poker and has over $16.5 million in career winnings in tournament action. Juanda has won more than 30 titles including five titles at the World Series of Poker. He had 32 final tables at the World Series of Poker and has been a pro since the late 1990’s. Juanda needs a win in the World Poker Tour to complete a "Triple Crown" for his career.
Juanda was very appreciative of the recognition and said it was an honor to join such other poker legends as Daniel Negreanu, Chip Reese and Dan Harrington.
Harman has the well-earned reputation as a cash game queen that is a legend for her success in that sector of poker. She has over $2.5 million in career winnings with two career bracelets and two World Poker Tour final tables for her career.
Harman was quite honored to make the Hall of Fame and has said that she has often had to support herself in her poker career because it is a sport in which you are all on your own. It was important to her to earn the respect of her fellow players as a hall of fame player.
As the game of poker continues to grow so too will its Hall of Fame rolls of honor with many great names still to come.
