Poker pro Anthony Zinno recently won his second career World Poker Tour title when he finished first in the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic. The $5,000 buy-in main event featured 419 players who played to take home the first place prize of more than a quarter million dollars.
Zinno became the 21st player in the history of the World Poker Tour to win more than one WPT main event title. The 33-year old poker pro came into the final table as the chip leader. The final table was a quick one as it only took 70 hands to get down from six players to the final two. The heads-up battle between Zinno and Mark Bailey then lasted another 75 hands. Zinno started heads-up play with just over a 2-1 lead in chips and increased that lead to more than 6-1 before Bailey made a big comeback to get almost even in chips. Zinno then started to pull away and won the title when his pair of kings took out the ace-jack of Bailey.
