The World Series of Poker Asia/Pacific has announced events for later this year. The first event for the poker pros will take place on October 2nd at the Crown Melbourne casino in Australia. There will be ten events on the schedule with the Championship that begins on October 12th headlining the action.
The 2014 WSOP Asia/Pacific will have ten tournaments which is double the amount from last year. “Bigger and better is the best way to describe the 2014 WSOP Asia-Pacific,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “New events at modest price points like the Dealers Choice and Terminator No-Limit Hold’em, plus an expansion of overall events and a move to springtime in Melbourne is designed to encourage the North American and European contingent to make this a can’t miss event. Plus, we have secured the most comprehensive live television coverage in both the U.S. and Australia for both the Main Event and High Roller.”
The first event of the WSOP Asia/Pacific is the $1100 (Australian)
“Accumulator” event on October 2nd. The $10,000 main event
which will feature a number of top poker professionals will begin
on October 12th and conclude on October 18th. The final event of the
WSOP Asia/Pacific in 2014 will be the $25,000 high roller event that
begins on October 15th.
