Poker professionals from around the world will be heading to Punta Cana for the first-ever Caribbean Poker Tour. The first events will take place in November including a World Poker Tour main event. Let’s take a closer look at the Caribbean Poker Tour.
Poker pros that are looking to get away from the cold temperatures and snow in the wintertime may want to play in the Caribbean Poker Tour. It takes place on the island of Punta Cana and in St. Maarten and will feature seven events. One of those events is the World Poker Tour main event that will appeal to a lot of the best poker pros in the world. Players can qualify for some of the Caribbean Poker Tour events on the iPoker network.
Another event that should get the attention of poker pros is the Lucky Number 7 High Roller which will be a seven-handed, $7,000 buy-in tournament hosted by poker professional Tobias Reinkemeier. That event features unlimited re-buys.
The Caribbean Poker Tour begins on November 8th and runs through
November 24th. The events will take place in both Punta Cana and St.
Maarten. The World Poker Tour event will be played at the Casino Royale
in Maho Bay. The buy-in for that event will be $3,500 with play starting
on November 19th and concluding on November 24th.
