It has been a tough time recently for poker pro Erick Lindgren but in the 2013 World Series of Poker he was back on top with a win in the $5,000 buy-in six-handed No-Limit Holdem Event #32. It was the first bracelet win for Lindgren since 2008 as he won $606,317.
A total of 516 players put up the $5,000 entry fee for this event which meant the prize pool totaled more than $2.4 million dollars. Lindgren started the final table as the chip leader and he was able to stay in control for the most part. When it got to heads-up, it was Lindgren holding about a 4-1 edge in chips against fellow poker pro Lee Markholt. It was not a walk in the park for Lindgren against Markholt who actually got to even in chips before Lindgren recovered to take the title.
